Also known as a Cubase freak, Marius is as old as Steinberg and arguably also their biggest fan in Romania.
Marius has been working in the audio world for 12 years and is completely self-taught, which ensures a total flexibility with the artists and the lack of a rigid set of rules that apply to just any given project.
Mostly known for the many rock and metal bands he has worked with, Marius has also recorded, mixed and mastered folk, electronic, classical or drone projects and even a Balinese ensemble. His list of “famous bands I’ve worked with” includes artists like Lake of Tears, Ministry of Wolves (featuring Mick Harvey Of Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds & Alexander Hacke of Einstürzende Neubauten), Aura Noir, Andrea Vadrucci (Cirque Du Soleil), Coma, Valborg, Alexandrina, The Mono Jacks, Travka, E.M.I.L, The Moood and even Goran Bregović.
It is said that curiosity killed the cat but it certainly didn’t kill Marius, who is a greedy music listener. That makes him able to handle and understand the subtleties of any project, disregarding its complexity of nonconformity.
Together with his experimental / ambient trio Environments, Marius has had opening acts for bands like Tim Hecker or Amenra.
Andru is the musical chameleon in the house due to his impressive ability to create any kind of music.
Andru started in Craiova with a small project called Candlestickmaker and changed progressively the musical registers. The variety of projects he created and developed tells that no rhythm is strange to him, from breezy pop or droning electro to sleepy minimal and ecstatic IDM.
Apart from his artistic endeavors, Andru is currently a sound designer for an important videogame developer and has created music for platforms ranging from PC games to mobile apps.
Sometimes you can also catch him performing live with his ambiental project Semiosis, his techno outfit MCGH or together with CLNK under the name Fjord.
Silviu is the mysterious guy in our team and maybe the most productive one, he is probably making some crazy beats even in his sleep.
He shifted monikers since his early days as Contorsionist to the later Mongomery Clunk and CLNK and every different musical project he gets into equals reinvention of the self and of his identity.
Starting with hip hop & industrial and ending with ambient and classic electronic, all fused by progressive songwriting, you can find it in his portfolio but also on his many releases on labels such as Error Broadcast, Asiluum and 148.
Serban started as a punk-rock guitarist but gradually shifted to electronic and experimental music and settled there.
His projects took him from minimal electro, post-rock or ambiental to badass hxc techno, and he’s still experimenting.
His sense of correctly managing any sound marked a natural turn into live sound engineering.
So, sometimes, Serban is responsible for getting every subtle tune of voice and instrument into the audience’s ears in a balanced way.
Currently, Serban is also using his compositional skills to create compelling soundscapes for a renowned international video game developer in one of the Romanian branches in Craiova.
Together with Alexandru Seidiu he is sometimes to be seen live performing as Semiosis.
